Everyday Life in Antiquity
What did the life of an Athenian or of a Roman look like more than 2000 years ago? We actively deal with the everyday life of people in antiquity with the help of originals from our archaeological collections and other visual material. Together, we will explore various topics: Food & Drink, Work & Leisure, Men & Women, Technology & Philosophy, Life & Death, Religion & Gods.
The guided tour allows a lively insight into areas of the private and public everyday life in Antiquity. It shows how previous achievements still affect our life today.
